HOW COACHING WORKS
Sessions are 1-1, typically 60 minutes and completely confidential
Usually, they take the form of a guided conversation designed to uncover practical ways for you to improve your performance and job satisfaction. You’ll do most of the talking.
At the end of each meeting, we’ll agree a series of next steps
It’s my job to hold you to account on these but don’t worry, I’m not here to nag! However, if and when you haven’t taken those steps, I’ll encourage you to understand why. Sometimes, the barriers will be obvious. Sometimes not.
What I bring to the sessions
I’ll be drawing on more than 15 years’ corporate leadership experience, a background in psychology and knowledge of leading coaching models and tools that can bring out your best ideas and unlock real solutions you can take forward.
What I need you to bring to the sessions
All you need to do is be ready to engage with the process honestly and with an open mind about how to make improvements. You may not always have a clear idea of how you want to use the session but, either way, try to arrive focused and prepared to discuss what’s going on for you.
Don't expect me to give you hard and fast answers
You know yourself better than anyone. My job is to help you tap into that knowledge, understand it more deeply and then use it to set a course to achieving what you want.

We set measurable and ambitious yet achievable objectives that have me leaving the sessions with Laura feeling positive, re-energised and focused of realising my goals – both professionally and personally.
